I don’t bend myself to please others. I don’t adjust my attitude based on applause, and I don’t stay silent when it comes to my convictions – not for a booking, not for an event, not for any assignment. Because everything is replaceable, except your own character.
Yes, my stance has set things in motion, and yes, I’ve already had to face consequences because of it. But that only shows how much my values mean to me. You don’t prove backbone when things are easy. You prove backbone when you pay a price for it and still refuse to break.
What concerns me more and more is the double standard you see everywhere today. Many speak publicly about respect, unity, and humanity. But as soon as things get uncomfortable, those very values are the first to disappear.
If you talk about loyalty, you should act loyally. If you demand respect, you should show it to others. And if you expect backbone from others, you should have the courage to stand by your own stance publicly – even when there’s headwind.
Values are not decoration for social media. They don’t show in words, but in decisions. Not when everyone applauds, but when it costs you something.
I will not sell my values – not for attention, not for money, not for recognition, and not to fit in somewhere more easily. If someone has a problem with that, they don’t have to walk my path. That’s completely fine.
I prefer to surround myself with people whose words and actions match. With people who show backbone, even when they take criticism for it. With people who live their values – not only when it’s convenient.
Because true success, to me, is not measured by sold‑out events or a full calendar. True success means staying true to yourself. And that is exactly what I will continue to do.
No double standards. No mask. No compromises. Be a voice, not an echo.
