On June 21, Danube Pro Wrestling held its debut event in Blaubeuren, near Ulm.
I have to say, this was easily one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever had the pleasure of performing in. And the best part? It was air-conditioned! Considering the temperatures that day, that was definitely a huge bonus. 😄
I actually met the promoter a year earlier at a shopping mall in Ulm. From our very first conversation, I had a really good feeling about him. We quickly agreed on all the details, and I’ve been looking forward to this event ever since.
Launching a new promotion always comes with a tremendous amount of work. It takes time for every aspect of a show to come together perfectly. Nobody starts out perfect, which made it even more impressive to see how much passion, dedication, and hard work went into making this event happen.
One thing I really appreciate about the promoter is his focus and determination. He has a clear vision and is committed to turning it into reality, one step at a time.
The event itself was a complete success. The fans were thoroughly entertained, and the atmosphere was fantastic throughout the entire evening despite the scorching heat outside.
By the way, I don’t think I’ve ever had to change clothes after my very first match before. 😅 It was unbelievably hot under the spotlights, so I definitely needed something a little lighter afterward. 🤗
Special praise also goes to the catering. In all my years at wrestling events, I’ve rarely had food this good. Everything was first-class, and even the guests from the United States were absolutely blown away.
It was also a real pleasure to meet Jake Omen and Jack Vaughn. Both are true professionals and genuinely great people to be around. And of course, it was just as nice to catch up with so many familiar faces again.
If you get the chance, I can highly recommend checking out the next Danube Pro Wrestling event on August 15 in Esslingen.
Go support the promotion! I’m excited to see how this project continues to grow.
